What OS are you using?  You have to use snort -i <interface_name>.  On
linux you can get a list of interfaces with mii-tool, or ifconfig.

Darn - same problem as before:

ERROR: OpenPcap<> device eth0 open:
        Error opening adapter : The system cannot find the file
specified.
Fatal Error, Quitting..

Is there another way to identify a NIC?
