I am at a loss

I finally have snort up and running, or at least I think I do, on Fedora
4 with BASE 1.2.5.

 

I was having problems getting the web page to appear, but that is no
longer an issue. 

 

Now, I have my sniffing port, and two devices connected to a hub and I
initiated a NESSUS scan from on device to the other and I was amazed
that the counters were not increasing upon login to the base management
console.  Does anyone have anything that I can check to see why my
counters are not increasing?

 

I am sure that the scan is working, and I hope my hub isn't dead.
