sending to syslog generated by preprocessors alerts

Hi. I have defined a rule type to send to syslog some alerts:

ruletype user_ops
 {
 type alert
 output alert_syslog: log_local5 log_alert 
 output database: log, mysql, user=<DBUSER> password=<PASS> dbname=snort host=localhost

 }


But, How I can send generated by any preprocessors alerts to syslog?
