Distributed Snort

I have a client who now needs to have an IDS on their internal network for
compliance reasons.  The would like a single console to manage those
through.  What do you recomend for installed / configured packages to
complete this task.  Currently they have 50 locations with another 10 added
per year (new franchise).  They use OpenSuse 10.2 and 10.3 for most
everything serverwise now.
