snort + mysql

Hi All
i have been trying to configure snort2.8.1 to log packets using Mysql in
Fedora Core 6 but after doin all steps i have been getting this error
ERROR: database: mysql_error: Unknown MySQL server host 'mysql.host'

can somebody suggest me what should i do to resolve this, it would be of
great help
