Hi,

I followed the following instructions of Snort 2.8.6 and Snort
Report 1.3.1 on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Installation Guide:
http://www.symmetrixtech.com/articles/004-snortinstallguide286.pdf

So Snort 2.8.6.0 is running fine with the most updated rules by using
the following:

/usr/local/snort/bin/snort -D -u snort -g snort -c
/usr/local/snort/etc/snort.conf -A console -i eth0

but when I open the http://10.2.5.x/snortreport-1.3.1/alerts.php on
my browser (10.2.5.x is ip of my Ubuntu 10.04 box), it tells me "No
Data".

No much have found via "google", any direction/idea/help would be
much appreciated.

Remove the "-A console" from your snort line and try again.
