Timestamp Format in alert_fast Mode

Hello all, Is there an option within Snort to change the format of the alert_fast output type? The current output format is MONTH/DAY-HOUR:MIN:SEC.MILIIS as I assume everyone knows. However we're loading this alert format into Splunk for data visualization and searching and something about this timestamp format triggers a bug in Splunk that causes Snort log traffic not to be indexed. I realize this is a Splunk issue and not a Snort issue in and of itself. However is there a reasonable, possibly undocumented, mechanism to change the alert timestamp format - at minimum to include a year field? -- Jason McCormick ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All the data continuously generated in your IT infrastructure contains a definitive record of customers, application performance, security threats, fraudulent activity and more. Splunk takes this data and makes sense of it. Business sense. IT sense. Common sense. http://p.sf.net/sfu/splunk-d2dcopy1 _______________________________________________ Snort-users mailing list Snort-users () lists sourceforge net Go to this URL to change user options or unsubscribe: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/snort-users Snort-users list archive: http://www.geocrawler.com/redir-sf.php3?list=snort-users Please visit http://blog.snort.org to stay current on all the latest Snort news!
