php installation

Hi ,
  I configured php and apache server as you specified and while testing
apache2 and installing php section ,after copying file you specified that
http://winids/test.php should be run in browser but I tried in Internet
Explorer but I didn't get any thing as you mentioned like sections of
installation . please help me with this.
