Snort Install successful - Need a proper database

Team,

I have installed the following successfully:

tcpdump-4.3.0,
libdnet-1.12,
libpcap-1.3.0,
daq-1.1.1,
snort-2.9.3.1

I now need to install mysql and also need to prepare the database for it to
log events and for front end tools to read from.
Could some help me construct such a database?
