Hi, snort-users I was testing some settings on snort and I discovered that the search-method "ac-split" in the config detection is running better on my machine. Reading through the snort manual, it's said that the "ac-split" method have low memory usage and high performance... if it's so why it is isn't the default option? Sorry for asking this but I want to know the differences and how to choose the better search-method to my enviroment. Thanks in advance. -- Anacleto JĂșnior Analista de TI e Redes Linux User: #447388
