How do I use the Snort community rules?

Hi, I have just downloaded Snort community rules from https://s3.amazonaws.com/snort-org/www/rules/community/community-rules.tar.gz I noticed that there is a file sid-msg.map in the tarball. Where do I install this file? In /etc/snort? Apart from sid-msg.map, I just copy community.rules to /etc/snort/rules and add an include statement in /etc/snort/snort.conf pointing to community.rules. Thank you very much. Yours sincerely, Teo En Ming
