Sourcefire VRT Certified Snort Rules Update

Synopsis:
This release includes an updated detection engine and also adds and
modifies rules in several categories.

Details:
The VRT has added and modified multiple rules in the blacklist,
browser-ie, exploit-kit, file-flash, file-identify, file-multimedia,
file-office, malware-cnc, os-windows, protocol-snmp, server-mail,
server-other and sql rule sets to provide coverage for emerging threats
from these technologies.
