PulledPork error 400 when fetching ruleset

Hello everyone,
Hopefully this is to the correct list. I am receiving the following error when trying to fetch  the ruleset via 
PulledPork v0.7.0 using a valid oinkcode. Proxy settings are configured and working for pulling other rulesets.
System is running Ubuntu 12.04.5 LTS.Snort - Version 2.9.7.2 GRE (Build 177)

Running PulledPork.
        Error 400 when fetching http://www.snort.org/reg-rules/snortrules-snapshot-2972.tar.gz.md5 at 
/usr/bin/pulledpork.pl line 463
        main::md5file('555555-notarealmd5-5555', 'snortrules-snapshot-2972.tar.gz', '/tmp/', 
'http://www.snort.org/reg-rules/') called at /usr/bin/pulledpork.pl line 1885
> From the config:# i.e. url|tarball|123456789,
