yeah, you need to update your snort to a supported version that is newer than 
that 2.9.7.0 you are running... you could go back to 2.9.6.2 or up to 2.9.7.5 or 
2.9.7.6...

note that 2.9.7.5 will EoL 2015 Dec 29th...
