Stream PAF

Hello,

I have noticed in Stream documentation
https://www.snort.org/faq/readme-stream5 that PAF is supported.

I have the following 2 questions :

 Is this only available for the protocols mentioned in the page (HTTP).

What If I want to have PAF capabilities for a custom protocol ? How I can
achieve this with snort ?
