Snort rules version in rules archive

[Meridoff via Snort-sigs <snort-sigs () lists snort org>]

Hello, in snort.org I've downloaded snortrules-snapshot-31210.tar.gz.
In this archive there is not any information about the rules version (3120).

Maybe it is possible to include in the archive a version file? As It have
been done for snort-OpenAppID rules archive (file version.conf).
