Can anyone tell me how to access the first two bytes(the type field) of a 
DLT_LINUX_SLL header.I am capturing packets on "any" device. For example if 
I want the 5th byteof the ethernet header I use ether[4]. In a similar way, 
how do I access the first 2 bytes of the link layer header DLT_LINUX_SLL?
