hi,

We are 3 students trying to write a 802.11 sensor for Prelude IDS. We
are beginners in paquet capturing and we would like to know if it is
possible to capture 802.11 frames with libpcap ?

This question came up a few times already. Guys read the old postings first...

I'm working on a small sniffer for 802.11 monitoring. The problem is that I

I'm using a linksys 802.11b card under Linux 2.4.20

whcih refers to Ethereal, but the issues are really generic issues for
*all* libpcap-based applications trying to capture all 802.11 packets.

thanks for your help :-)
