I remember IE 4 (maybe some beta, not quite shure) asking to terminate
the

                end while //or whatever, can't remeber the syntax, havent used for
long time :)

with Info Box something like: "Script is taking system time, do you want
to stop execution..."
but i haven't tried that with any code inside the loop, nor with java
script
