is wuftpd dependant upon the user account having a valid shell for security reasons or just by design? i.e. if i edit a users shell in /etc/passwd and set it to /bin/noshell that user cannot ftp in...
/bin/noshell as shell in the passwd file and it's not in /etc/shells: User will be able to use just the pop3 service /bin/noshell as shell in the passwd file and it's in /etc/shells: User will be able to use pop3+ftp services Fabio Roccatagliata
