It is also possible that certain "crafted" packets can have adverse affects on some switch CPU's disproportionate to their consumed bandwidth A case could also be made that the administration of the VLAN would be more prone to error leading to a security compromise. Assuming that someone out there did know an exploit they may not be so willing to share it in this forum. It is presumptuous to think we know all possible vectors of attack.
