SAN and NAS connection monitoring

Does anyone have any information regarding Storage Area Networking and 
security? I'm interested to see if there are any security tools out there to 
check for vulnerabilities, misconfigurations or even IDS-style connection 
monitoring in a SAN / NAS environment?
