Consider this article: Clarke: Nations using internet to spy http://english.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/D29B0874-8690-4929-9BFE-44E59F217582. htm "There are incidents, I think, where governments are involved, doing either reconnaissance or testing out concepts, probing for weaknesses." Some say government entities, organised crime, and even corporate spies create and use spyware/malware mostly for economic gain. If this is true, I predict higher demand for security minded professionals over the next ten to twenty years. -- Christopher Canova, Student canovac () earthlink net http://home.earthlink.net/~canovac -----Original Message----- From: Tom () iss net [mailto:Tom () iss net] Sent: Monday, November 01, 2004 9:31 AM To: webappsec () securityfocus com Subject: Hacking--do the pros now rule?
