October 11-12, 2005 http://www.owasp.org/conferences/appsec2005dc.html OWASP St Louis ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~It’s time for the 2nd meeting of the OWASP St. Louis Chapter. Since the first meeting, there have been a number of additional people in the St. Louis area expressing interest in attending the meetings. As we move forward with web application awareness, it is appropriate to hear from industry leader, Jeremy Poteet, on the subject. After the presentation, future chapter meeting topics and overall direction will be discussed.
Who Should Attend - anyone interested in Web Application Security (management, security architects, developers, etc). Whether you are a developer of web sites, manage development teams, responsible for securing your network’s firewalls and IDS systems and wondering where the next threats will be, or just interested in learning more about the topic, this is the meeting for you to learn and network.

Keynote Speaker: Jeremy Poteet, appDefense, Chief Security OfficerJeremy will be giving the address, “In the Line of Fire: Defending Highly Visible Targets” that he will be delivering the following week to the 2nd Annual US OWASP Conference in Washington, D.C. Jeremy has been the project lead on the OWASP Guide, a member of the testing team, and one of the monthly columnists among other OWASP related tasks.
