The OWASP Java Project needs your help!

The project's goal is to enable Java and J2EE developers to build secure applications efficiently. To this end we plan on producing materials that show J2EE architects, developers, and deployers how to deal with most common application security problems. The material will be produced in wiki form at the OWASP Java Project wiki:
http://www.owasp.org/index.php/Category:OWASP_Java_Project

Joining the project is easy
- Have a look at the Roadmap:
  http://www.owasp.org/index.php/OWASP_Java_Project_Roadmap
- Read the tutorial on submitting to OWASP:
  http://www.owasp.org/index.php/Tutorial
- And join the mailing list:

Regards,

The OWASP Java Project leads

As web applications become increasingly complex, tremendous amounts of sensitive data - personal, medical and financial - are exchanged, and stored. Consumers expect and demand security for this information. This whitepaper examines a few vulnerability detection methods - specifically comparing and contrasting manual penetration testing with automated scanning tools.
