jar files use the same compression algorithm as zip does. with that said a jar is really a zip or vice versa. lol jar files are usually library files that maintain a directory class structure for java applications. There may be more than one api inside that jar file. Now if you meant that you would like to decompile .class files then that's a different story. Here's the tool that I use: cavaj java Decompiler 1.11 Just google for a good free java decompiler. Application Tester wrote:
