Re: collision in the network card

Hi Richard,

OK my fault.

My question is: is possible using wireshark detect colision in a LAN
enviromment ??.

I think that, if wireshark in a specific net card, detect a high level of
collision (at least in a full duplex interface) maybe it could do that
(think about broadcasting packets). But I´m not sure.

Sorry if I´m until not clear.

Tks in advanced,

Ademar

Hello,

What sort of a collision do you mean? Do you mean you have Wireshark
watching a half-duplex port?

Sincerely,

Richard
