Hi all,

I am in going to start a project for a handheld device called triple play
tester. It will test data-voice-video. With this device I need to test the
broadband internet, VOIP and IPTV service to the customers. As I have little
idea about the some of the VOIP and H.264 protocol analysis capability by
Wireshark. Could anybody tell me if I am able to get the reliable values for
the following parameters from wireshark?
*
IPTV (MPEG2, MPEG4 part 2 and 10 (H.264/AVC, WM9)*
IP layer analysis
Bandwidth usage per channel
IGMP packets
Set-up box (STB) traffic
Key IP video QoS parameter: packet loss, packet jitter,
zap time
PCR jitter, PID statistics
Media delivery index (MDI)
QoS pass/fail indicators
Multicast/unicast RTP/UDP
TCP/RTSP VOD
Bandwidth usage (graphical)
IP packet and PCR jitter histogram (graphical)

*VOIP (SIP v2)*
IP layer call statistic
Call flow
Codec indicator (G.711, G.729, G.726, G.723)
Key VoIP QoS parameters: packet loss, packet jitter
QoS pass/fail indicator
Bandwidth usage (graphic)
IP packet and PCR jitter histogram(graphic)

The platform will be embedded linux and the hardware platform is atom
processor board.

Please also suggest the feasibility of using QT4 for GUI instead of GTK....

Your suggestions will be most appreciated......

Thanks and Regards,
