Re: Wireshark needs root privileges?

There are more options with the dev tree source tarball, such as
setuid wireshark, and (more secure still) a separate setuid cli
utility to capture to files to read from wireshark.

It's worth the effort as the dev tree version has more features, and
security and safety is important.
