Hi, Indeed it's possible to isolate libwireshark and provide your own interface. Tshark and Wireshark are only two possible implementations of that concept, providing a user interface and capture options. There will be no active support for this type of use though. Please note that the GPL does apply, thus adding conditions on distribution. Thanks, Jaap On 05/17/2010 04:45 PM, Thierry Emmanuel wrote:
Hello, I doesn’t have any answer. Is there a problem with this question ? Is the dev list more relevant for this kind of questions ? I didn’t find answer for this question in mailing lists or documentation : Is it thinkable/easy to use the epan part of Wireshark source independently ? Can I technically compile only this part of the project, without any dependency for the rest ? Thanks, Best regards
