Hello Jake,

With WPA2 the wireless traffic is encrypted by the radio card.
So if you take a capture on (in my case a Win7 laptop) your own data is not even encrypted yet.
You will be able to see your own data as-is.

Regards,
Henk

Subject: [Wireshark-users] 802.11 question

I have a capture that I took on my own wireless network with the WPA2 key entered.
With that said, that traffic is already decrypted...yes?

Thanks ahead of time....
