Jaap-
If that is the case, and I believe you are correct, wouldn't it make
sense to merge the G.722 & G.726 patches in (when someone has cycles to
do it)??

Hi,
It's not a question of adding code to handle those codec's, those
codec's requires licenses and can't be added to GPL projects as far

Also, will the capability of playing G.729 streams be added to the
wishlist?

Thanks,

Hi,

Currently, in the Telephony/VoIP Calls section, one can only play
G.711u and G.711a RTP streams. Can the capability of playing G.722
streams be added to the wishlist? I am new to this mailing list. I
don't know if this has been discussed before.

Thanks,

Jeremy Matthews
