Haven't dealt with JDBC connections however I capture ODBC traffic all the time, unless you turn on encryption the sql traffic is in plain text so normally I just find a query I'm looking for (wireshark find command, find String in Packet bytes), follow that stream and it's all there in readable format, requests and responses. Hope that helps From: wireshark-users-bounces () wireshark org [mailto:wireshark-users-bounces () wireshark org] On Behalf Of Vivek Nambiar Sent: Monday, July 16, 2012 5:11 PM To: wireshark-users () wireshark org Subject: [Wireshark-users] Can wireshark be used to get the SQL been passed? Hey Experts, Just wanted to know the best way to track the SQL's been passed from a App server to database mostly JDBC. Also can we capture ODBC calls? and what is the best way to filter it out if there is another way other than specifying the source and destination IP address? Thanks
