Filtering on eth.type if vlan is used

Hi,
I recently got a complaint that filtering on eth.type does not show the relevant packages if vlan is used this is 
caused by the 802.1Q dissector storing the
Next ethertype in vlan.etype should we add a generated or hidden eth.type field as well?
