Do you have the Cygwin "file" package installed on your build system? If so, what does "file wireshark-gtk2/wireshark.exe" return? Also, are you trying to build a 64-bit executable using Visual C++ 2010EE? If so, that might require extra effort: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1865069/how-to-compile-a-64-bit-application-using-visual-c-2010-express
I forgot to add that you might also try opening wireshark.exe in Dependency Walker on the XP and Vista machines to try to figure out why it won't run. http://www.dependencywalker.com/ ___________________________________________________________________________ Sent via: Wireshark-dev mailing list <wireshark-dev () wireshark org> Archives: http://www.wireshark.org/lists/wireshark-dev Unsubscribe: https://wireshark.org/mailman/options/wireshark-dev mailto:wireshark-dev-request () wireshark org?subject=unsubscribe
