No, there's not much in any of the README files about doing GUI development, or about adding hooks to the display 
filter code so that the GUI code would know that, at some particular point, somebody's expected to type in a value to 
compare with a particular field, and which field that is, so the GUI code could look up the field and see whether it 
has a value_string of values.
