This is why tools/debian-setup.sh exists - to keep track of the twisty little maze of packages, all different, needed to build Wireshark on Debian and derivatives. Perhaps there should be a README.debian that mentions it - and a README.ubuntu that says Ubuntu is a Debian derivative; please read README.debian for the benefit of those who *don't* realize that Ubuntu is a Debian derivative. Would something for Red Hat/Fedora/Centos(?) be useful as well? (Should macosx-setup.sh be moved to tools as well?) ___________________________________________________________________________ Sent via: Wireshark-dev mailing list <wireshark-dev () wireshark org> Archives: https://www.wireshark.org/lists/wireshark-dev Unsubscribe: https://wireshark.org/mailman/options/wireshark-dev mailto:wireshark-dev-request () wireshark org?subject=unsubscribe
