If the bug was in branch master-2.2 only, what would be the correct way to
push a fix in this branch only?

Hi Guy and Pascal,

I'm 99% sure it's in the master branch as well but I'll check. If so,
I'll do as Pascal says and push a fix for master.

If I want to submit a fix for a bug in 2.2.4, do I switch to the master
branch and then push the fix? Or do I change to master-2.2.4 branch, apply
the fix and push?

Is this a bug that's in the master branch *and* the 2.2.x branch, or is it
only in the 2.2.x branch?
