When going through this process, you will be prompted for Syskey deactivation on the system.  Whatever you do, don't 
disable it (don't turn it off).  You just may not be able to turn Syskey back on again!  What exactly do you mean by 
'Normal user'. You are either a Guest, Administrator, Power User, or 'SYSTEM'.

You can obtain a tool from http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/ that will allow you to change the local 
administrator password on XP. It is a Linux boot disk that opens the SAM and allows you to change passwords.

You can download the two floppy disk version or the bootable CD image version.

For best results, use this tool to change the password to blank then log on as administrator and set an appropriate 
password.

Hi , i have 25 computers , working w/ windows xp professional - client , my 
private intranet use the windows NT . Some workstation w/ xp , apeared w/ 
the administrator ( local ) password changed , anybody now how i can change 
that password again , w/ the permissions of a normal user.
