There is a product called ENVISION that will handle syslog formats from different devices. You will need SNARE to be able to format the Windows system alerts into the correct format and send them to a device Shirkdog http://www.shirkdog.us -----Original Message----- From: William.Barrett () bvainc com [mailto:William.Barrett () bvainc com] Sent: Wednesday, August 04, 2004 11:14 PM To: security-basics () securityfocus com Subject: Logging utility Importance: Low My boss sent me the following question today. It seems like I have heard about something like this, but I'm drawing a blank. Has anyone here heard of something like this? And if so can you point me in the right direction?
Is anyone aware of a product that will aggregate logs from Windows
2000/2003, Cisco routers, PIX firewalls, etc. into one central
location for review?
