Hi all,

I would like to ask all of you, if you have every used a network discovery
tool? I have a network with more than 5000 PC's and more than 70 sites in
the country. I would like to create an analysis about the network nodes,
line between them, speed of the lines etc. Would it be possible with a tool
to discover the whole internal network, with routers, gateways and all the
important datas?

Thanks for all...

Gery

Hi Gery,

There's Cheops-ng: http://cheops-ng.sourceforge.net/screenshots.php

You can see some of the different types of services that it can render
in the screenshots. Since it requires an nmap installation beforehand
you will also be able to probe for specific services on hosts you would
like to query. But.....you haven't specified which platform you are
currently using.

Regards,

Patrick
