My understanding is that with PGP you actually have to "manually" select the external media that you want to encrypt. It is not a automated process. Please correct me if I am wrong. The other other problem is PGP it take longer to setup on a system. The setup is not as straight-forward as other similar product (e.g. pointsec, utimaco etc) saqib http://www.full-disk-encryption.net On 11/28/06, Peter Krkoc <peter () palsit com> wrote:
Try PGP (www.pgp.com). With two different keys (admin key and user key) you can manage the encrypted data in a way that you would like to. Essentially they want the external device to be bound to a single computer. But they also want the ability to recover data from the external storage media if the computer goes bad. Any suggestions??? saqib http://www.full-disk-encryption.net
