Wireless keyboard & mouse

Dear List,
Wanted to know if there are any known or potential security issues in the use of wireless devices like mouse, and 
particularly keyboards

We know that wireless is by default not secure, what security features do these devices offer to mitigate risk of 
sniffing keystrokes over the air

Did not find much on this subject, maybe it's a non-issue
