I agree with Stephen M. Access however, cards can provide varying degrees of access given the software package being used. Some cards, just entry from the street, other levels to really secure areas where biometrics with the access cards can provide dual authentication. I tested facial recognition with card access as well on an application. That's like giving every employee a key to every door in the building and expecting security to work itself out. Card + Pin or perimeter security maintained via guards that check badges eliminates this issue. Steve On Fri, Oct 2, 2009 at 7:00 AM, Steve Freeman <freema2 () bellsouth net> wrote:
My company used to print the company name on the access cards until we had an incident where someone lost their card, didn't report it right away and the person that found it used it to gain entry into a secure area. I
suggest
not putting any identifying information on the card. Just my thoughts! Steve -----Original Message----- From: listbounce () securityfocus com [mailto:listbounce () securityfocus com]

access
cards? If so, what are they?
