Simple theory: Vendors sell their antispam products claiming 99% protection from spam, and astute management wants 
<just> 1% extra effort from us :D The math makes the count as 100% which we certainly don't like.

Good idea to ask them what do they do when they receive a spam on their yahoo or hotmail account? :D

But I still feel 5-6 spams per day/ per user is on a higher side. It won't be a bad idea to conduct a user awareness 
session (Take Mngt support boss), RBLs and may be a slight push on spam scoring on your product if you feel there is a 
possibility. Btw, which Antispam solution are you using?
