A request

I'm told that--although it hasn't shown up in my mailbox yet--a copy of a copyrighted SunOS source module was posted to this list today. Since I know this mailing list is being automatically archived (and is available via WWW) I'd like to suggest that anyone who maintains an archive of this mailing list prevent that message, if it is in fact copyrighted, from going into the archive. I have not consulted with any company bigwigs about this and am not attempting to speak for Sun here. I don't know what the corporate response will be, if any. Also I am not qualified to discuss licensing and intellectual property issues. I am just trying to point out what I see as a problem. -mg-
