 Just a reminder to sign-up for the  Oregon hosted SANS training in
March. We need a minimum of 125 registrants to hold the course - and
must substantially meet our minimum registration by very early in Feb.
or seriously consider cancelling the session - - so, time is of the
essence. Remember, SANS rarely holds courses in Oregon and at a fraction
of the cost - - you can send 3 folks for the price of one!!   So, please
take advantage of the "early bird" registration.

SANS Training Opportunity--March 12-16, 2007 

SANS training is recognized as the best in the world and we're delighted
to announce a new program enabling public sector employees to attend
SANS courses for about one-third the listed price, including all course
materials and all breaks and lunches.  Oregon State University and the
State of Oregon Department of Administrative Services are sponsoring a
5-day SANS "Securing Windows" security course on the OSU campus.

This is a new program the SANS Institute is piloting with states to
provide cost effective, quality SANS security training to higher
education, state government, community colleges, county/city government,
and other public sector agencies.

Government/Education Discount 
You are eligible for the educational and government participant discount
if you are a: 

--Faculty or staff member from an accredited educational institution,
including colleges, universities, technical training institutes, K-12
schools or any institution with a .edu domain name. 

--Law enforcement member at the state or local level. 
--Employee of a state, county, or city entity. 

Government/Education employees
