I'm found of the product, I installed one for a friend who has a businesss with pretty strong IA needs. It's pretty easy to manage, very flexible, and robust, though she hasn't taxed it in any way. It also functions as a VPN concentrator, and that has come in handy. They have a VM and a free ISO for running on beige boxes for the not-for-profit crowd, should be good for a look-see. We are currently looking at the Astaro system to replace our Cisco PIX. We like the fact that it does traffic shaping and authentication to eDirectory. Any comments, suggestions, on Astaro and related products would be most helpful. _______________________________________________________________ Bernie Timberman Senior Network and Systems Administrator DePauw University 602 South College Ave. Greencastle, IN 46135 e-mail: btimberman () depauw edu Phone: 765.658.4292 FAX: 765.658.4310
