I agree with you that getting a visit from law enforcement changes the game. It reinforces that failing to secure 
things can have serious consequences for the institution and for individuals in our communities.

What newer technology are you using instead of NAC?

We used to use Perfigo / Cisco NAC for that, but have moved on to newer technology
