We also use ManageEngine ADSelfService Plus.  Reasonably priced too.

We found it to be more stable than the reset tool which came with Microsoft FIM.  However modifying the user interface 
is a bit clunky.

We use ManageEngine ADSelfService Plus. We also use its functionality to notify users of impending password expiration.

One item we did struggle with was choosing good security questions. So many simple questions are easily answered by a 
quick perusal of a Facebook profile. Balancing secure with easy to recall is very difficult.
